We are often embarrassed about asking for help. It's an act that can make us feel vulnerable. Simply asking someone for directions reveals that we are lost and seeking help can feel like we are somehow being weak. The irony is that most of us love to help others, while many of us have a hard time asking others for help ourselves.

WHAT DO THE NUMBERS SAY?

What if we had more freedom to ask for the support we wanted from other people? What if we could make requests in a confident, humble, and empowering way? What if we remembered that we are worthy of other people's help and remind ourselves that it's not only OK, but essential for us to ask for and receive help?

This World Mental Health Day, we’re setting free the feelings, worries, and truths that we usually keep hidden. All to normalise the conversation around mental health with our local campaign - HELP. OK. PLEASE, with a glocal message. 

Derived from the phrase commonly written on trucks in India, the campaign idea focuses on encouraging people to be open about the highs and lows they face in life and get the support they need (from friends and family or by starting therapy).
